NSW, QLD: Do you suffer ongoing pain after shingles?

Patients who suffer Post Herpetic Neuralgia (that is those who experience chronic pain after having shingles) are needed for a clinical trial.

The trial aims to assess whether the study medication may give improved relief of your post herpetic neuralgia.

You may be eligible for this trial if you:

Are over 18 years of age
Have had persistent pain for 3 months after your shingles rash has healed

All medical care, examinations, tests and the study medication are provided free of charge, and travel expenses will be reimbursed.

The trial is being conducted by medically qualified professionals, and has received ethics committee approval from the Bellberry and Hunter New-England Human Research Ethics Committees. If you choose to participate, your participation will not interfere with your relationship with your regular Doctor.
